Ilkin Beste Çırak is an urban planner and art designer. She was graduated from the department of City and Regional Planning of Izmir Institute of Technology and recently she is doing her master degree at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Fine Arts, the department of Arts and Design. She produces her art based workings in the realm of relational aesthetics and social design with the perspective of Arts as an urban innovation tool. Predominantly, she discusses public space, locality, social integration and participation on her artistic-scientific projects and public games with synthesizing various mediums, disciplines and communities. She worked with Urban Renewal & Inspecting Authority for Residential Buildings in Vienna and The Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers&Architects, Chamber of City Planners Student Commision, İzmir. Also, she involved in “Urla Sıra Neighbourhood Project,İzmir,Turkey” which intended to enhance living conditions of people in selected neighbourhood. She is setting Art+Game workshops with kids in Kapılar Initiative,İzmir.
